The first step in your portrait experience with Strauss Peyton is visiting the studio and sharing your vision with us. Enjoy portraits throughout the studio and discover what appeals to you and refine the vision that begins to grow.

Conveniently located at 119th and Quivira in Overland Park, the Strauss Peyton studio includes a camera room to have your portrait session in which means no worrying about weather, heat or humidity affecting your portrait session.
After your portrait session, we invite you into the studio to sit down with us and determine the best images, sizes and finishes for your home utilizing the features of our sales software that allows us to virtually decorate your home. 
Celebrate your relationships with an exquisite painting...perfect for a priceless heirloom to capture these moments. Someday grandchildren will treasure this!
Select a beautiful custom frame to enhance and complement your wall art. Because it's custom, that means we can change the finish tone, the color and the elements of the frame to suit your custom art piece.
The final piece of the portrait experience! Once your artwork is finished and framed, we deliver and install your art for you in your home.

Meet your Portrait Artists: Jonathan & Kaela Braswell

As parents ourselves, we know how fleeting childhood can be.  Now that we have survived the young years, we are smack dab in the middle of early teenage and adult years, also with their own set of challenges.  Looking back on the portraits we have of our kids when they were young helps to remind us of all the fun it's been and to enjoy the journey with them as they grow from sweet little babies to capable adults ready to take on the world.

With today’s busy schedules, we know that most families struggle with trying to find time for a portrait session and often “wait until next year”. The problem is the years fly by, the portraits never get created and our children grow up right before our eyes.  That's why it's so important to purposefully carve out the time and to make the commitment to have a beautiful memory created.  

While a portrait of a moment today may not seem that important, it's when time passes and you see what once was. That's when your portrait becomes priceless.
